Waterford Lakes Town Center, Orlando’s largest open-air shopping, dining and entertainment destination, will host the 16th annual “Taste of Orlando” presented by Napleton Volkswagen of Orlando and iHeart Media on Nov. 21 from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. A portion of the proceeds from “Taste of Orlando” will benefit the Simon Youth Foundation. Participation will help provide college scholarships for at-risk youth in east Orlando.
Join popular restaurants from both Waterford Lakes Town Center and the surrounding community for an all-day family food festival featuring samples of delectable dishes and spirited beverages. Participating restaurants include Amigo’s Restaurant and Cantina, Bahama Breeze, BJ’s Brewhouse, Boston Coffeehouse, California Pizza Kitchen, Caribe Blu, Chicken Salad Chick, Chick-fil-A, Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurant, Crispers, Designer Greens, Duffy’s Sports Grill, Dunkin’ Donuts, Edible Arrangements, Fresh To Order, Gator’s Dockside, Jeremiah’s Italian Ice, Jet’s Pizza, Little Greek, Longhorn Steakhouse, Marlow’s Tavern, Mellow Mushroom, Paramount Butcher Shop, Planet Smoothie, Pollo Tropical, Smokey Bones Bar & Fire Grill, Sonny’s BBQ, Spoleto, Sus Hi Eatstation, Sweet! The special event will also feature free live music, fabulous shopping and children’s events including face painting, a track-less train, a rock-climbing wall and bounce houses. Advance wristbands are available through November 20 and can be purchased at the property management office or at Ticketmaster outlets and online. Wristband prices are adults (11+) $15 in advance, $20 day of event and children (ages 4 – 10) $5 in advance; $10 day of event.
