Taste of Orlando Returns to Waterford Lakes Town Center for 15th Year

The 15th annual Taste of Orlando, an all-day family festival featuring delicious small bites and refreshing beverages from more than 20 of the best restaurants at Waterford Lakes Town Center and Orlando, is Saturday, November 15 from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. Residents will also enjoy free live music, prize giveaways and children’s entertainment.

Attendees will be captivated by the mouthwatering aromas that will fill Waterford Lakes Town Center’s open-air corridor courtesy of the following list of participating local restaurants:

  • Gator’s Dockside

In addition, children can test their skills on the rock climbing wall or hop on the trackless train in the Kids Area. College football fans don’t have to sacrifice a Saturday of action as TVs will be set up throughout the activation area. And families can enjoy free live entertainment provided by iHeart Media including balloon artists, face painters and more.

Food samplings and children’s activities require wristbands. Wristbands include five taste tabs and are available for purchase in advance now through Nov. 14 at the Waterford Lakes Town Center Property Management Office, Ticketmaster outlets and online, or Gator’s Dockside on Lake Underhill Road.

Beer, wine and other beverages will be available for purchase.

Proceeds from Taste of Orlando benefit Simon Youth Foundation, specifically young people in East Orlando. Participation will help provide college scholarships for at-risk youth in the local community.

Beyond serving as currency to purchase food, taste tabs will double as “votes” for the restaurant’s partner charity. The three winning restaurants will receive a Simon Giftcard donation to support their charity of choice.
