Waterford Lakes Town Center, Orlando’s largest open-air shopping, dining and entertainment destination, and The Southeast Post will honor members of the military and public safety sector during the fourth annual 9/11 Tribute on September 11. The free event will take place from 5 – 9 p.m. in the parking lot between Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurant and Regal Cinemas.
“Our military and public servants work tirelessly to defend our freedom and this celebration is our special way of saying ‘thank you’ for all that they do,” said Jamie Fraser, director of marketing and business development at Waterford Lakes Town Center. “We invite the community to join us in honoring the efforts of these gallant men and women.”
The event will kick-off with a presentation of colors by local JROTC students followed by plenty of family fun including bounce houses, vendor displays, photo opportunities, hourly prize drawings and more. Entertainment will include patriotic music, magicians, crafts and Warrior’s Way, an intense set of inflatable obstacle courses provided by Spacewalk. Representatives from local fire and police stations as well as members of each military branch will be in attendance to answer questions and educate the public.
